Goals

I would like to attend The Juilliard School to study classical violin and other performing arts, including acting and singing. I would like to perform on Broadway and hope to be an inspiration for younger generations someday.

Special Skills and Hobbies

I am a dedicated student, musician and performer, and a young entrepreneur. I study hard to get good grades and am on the Honor Roll. I love acting and have been in stage, radio, television, and other media productions. Currently, I am a soloist and play first violin for Ursa Major and second violin for Aurora Strings, of the Juneau String Ensemble; I am also the group leader and first violin for a JSE quartet and first violin for a JSE double quartet. I am a member of the Juneau Community Choir and working to improve my vocal technique and singing skills. I have been a Girl Scout since the Daisy level and am currently a Cadette working towards a Silver Award. I am Safe Sitter® certified and first-aid/CPR trained, and the Founder and President of The Juneau Sweet Sitters, a child care club that started in October of 2024 and has six members who provide care to more than twenty children and thirteen clients. I also often participate in cultural activities like our biennial Celebration event, clan ceremonies, and weekly song and dance practice. I work with my father to provide live translations from Lingít Yoo X̲ʼatángi, or Tlingit language, to English at large cultural events. I am currently looking for volunteer opportunities where I might be able to work with animals or for other non-profit places that need help. I hope to be a successful musician and performer as an adult and an inspiration to young artists and people.
